字尾加 -s : mistakes, cats, tips, months, dogs, Americans, bananas,

字尾加 -es : churches, dishes, boxes, kisses, potatoes, tomatoes, heroes

字尾y前为子音，去y改为 -ies : copies, hobbies, countries

字尾为f/fe，去f/fe改为 -ves : wolves, leaves, knives, wives
