有些动词有被动的意思，但习惯上用主动式来表示。
Your hand feels cold. 你的手摸起来好冷。
The roses smell sweet. 这些玫瑰闻起来好香。
The thermometer reads 39 degrees Celsius. 温度计显示39度C。
This apartment rents at NT$30,000 a month.这间公寓月租台币三万元。
The library opens from 8am to 8pm.
图书馆从上午8点开放到晚上8点。
